H+K strengthens Innovation + Creative team in Germany with Creative Director and Senior Creative Strategist appointments
September 1, 2021, BERLIN/DÜSSELDORF/FRANKFURT – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of the world’s leading international public relations firms, is advancing its transformation agenda with the expansion of its innovation + creative strategy team in Germany.
Effective immediately, Radwan Atwi joins the Innovation + Creative (I+C) Hub as Creative Director, and Nikolaus Maas will join the team as Senior Creative Strategist.
H+K’s global network of I+C hubs bring together creative, content, media, data and digital specialist into one team whilst working directly with clients across a broad range of sectors in. With the strategic reinforcement of Atwi and Maas, H+K continues the momentum of its global Innovation + Creativity agenda.

In his role as Creative Director, Atwi will support H+K’s Innovation + Creative Hub and look after national and international clients from the Berlin office. Atwi brings with him many years of experience in leading international agencies such as JWT, Grey and Leo Burnett, having worked in Dubai, Kuwait, Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich, among others. Most recently, he was Creative Director at VIRTUE/VICE in Zurich. In his career, he has worked on creative campaigns for renowned global brands such as IKEA, McDonald’s and Mondelez.
Maas comes from thjnk, where he most recently worked as a strategist for clients such as Audi and Austrian Airlines. Before that, he worked at K16 GmbH in Hamburg, focusing on B2B topics for clients such as Merck and Deutsche Telekom.
